Keep separate rows when the same product is stored in different bins. Enter quantities for each location rather than repeating the product’s total stock on every row.
Total pieces = full cartons × pieces per carton + loose pieces
The CSV contains values only. Calculate and update Total pieces yourself; no spreadsheet formula is included. Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. This is a generic worksheet, not an ERP import template.
Opening your file
How do I open it in Excel?
Open the downloaded CSV. If columns do not separate correctly, use Data → From Text/CSV, select UTF-8 and comma as the delimiter. Format SKU and Location columns as Text to preserve leading zeros.
Can I upload stock here?
No. This tool provides a downloadable worksheet only. Keep and edit your inventory in your own spreadsheet application.

Start a location stock sheet
Inputs
Download the blank template. In your spreadsheet, enter an illustrative SKU EXAMPLE-A at 01-A-01, 12 pieces per carton, 8 full cartons and 3 loose pieces.
Output
Enter 99 in Total pieces: 8 × 12 + 3 = 99. The blank download provides 10 column headings and no data rows.
The CSV has no formulas. Calculate the total yourself or add your own spreadsheet formula after opening it.
Track the same SKU in two bins
Inputs
Keep the 99-piece row at 01-A-01. Add another EXAMPLE-A row at 01-A-02 with 2 full cartons of 12 and no loose pieces.
Output
The second row has 24 pieces. The SKU total across both locations is 123 pieces.
Keep the two location quantities separate. This worksheet does not synchronise with an ERP or maintain a live stock balance.
